On June 2nd, Andrei Balaianu, Head of Dev, and Vlad Faraon, cofounder & CBO, held an AMA in the Spanish-speaking community of ProBit Exchange.

Could you tell us a little more about the core team and some of their backgrounds?

Vlad Faraon: Sure, I am Vlad Faraon, co-founder of Coreto. I spent my last 14 years in the corporate world, working for different multinational companies as a business developer and business growth strategies specialist. I have been active in the blockchain space since 2016 as a retail investor and user of blockchain-based products.

My Co-Founder and CEO, Iustina, managed for 8 years her own digital marketing agency. It was one of the first digital agencies in Romania, working with national and international brands from industries like automotive, F&B, healthcare, or IT&C.

We also have Vali Tronaru, our Head of Design, with more than 5 years of experience in building brands from scratch and a critical eye in regards to UX/UI and how everything looks and feels.

And I’ll let Andrei make his own introduction 🙂

This is the core team that works full-time at Coreto. The core team works closely with dedicated teams in charge of execution, made up of both internal and external resources, coordinating in order to reach the desired targets and results.

Andrei Balaianu: Hello, I am Andrei Balaianu, Head of Development @Coreto. I have over 9 years of experience as a full-stack developer, architect, and leader. I have worked on projects of all shapes and sizes, including large-scale enterprise platforms and now I am bringing all that experience in building one of the most unique projects in the crypto space — Coreto.

Can you describe what Coreto is and what problems it solves?

Vlad Faraon: Coreto is a reputation-based social platform oriented towards the crypto communities. We work on building a trust layer between the people involved in this industry: retail investors, influencers, traders, and projects
On Coreto, you can learn and understand everything about crypto projects, trading, and crypto in general. A place where your level of crypto knowledge can be drastically improved. A place where content creators, influencers, traders, and projects are classified based on their past performance and trust from the community.

The main problem that we’re addressing is helping the new adopters of crypto to better understand how this industry works, how to determine which influencers/traders are worth being followed (based on past performance and not only by the number of followers), and most importantly, to give them the tools needed to improve their crypto investment strategies.

What are the main utilities of your coin on the platform?

Andrei Balaianu: The $COR token is used as both currency and reward. It can be pledged on SOOPs in order to gain a bonus on your trust and performance score when making predictions, earn it as a reward for winning challenges, monetize your knowledge once you reach “influencer” status, and use it as payment for premium content and even 1-on-1 mentoring by the experts that will rise above the rest.

All these use cases and more will be tied to all the major features of the platform. You can even use it for staking (soon to be available directly on the platform), providing multiple ways to earn and use it, rising in demand with the adoption and usage of the platform.

Can you explain what SOOPs are, and how they benefit the crypto community?

Andrei Balaianu: SOOPs, or the Staking of Opinion Pools feature, is one of our most unique features of Coreto, and the first major one implemented in the ALPHA! Users can make price predictions on the platform, similar to how Telegram or Twitter signals work. You choose your trading pair, set your entry price, take profits and stop loss, add your charting TA and a description of why you think your prediction is right, and you are all set!

Users can then back your prediction by pledging $COR, others can challenge it with different predictions, and you will be rewarded with $COR by getting the best SOI on your prediction, also gaining a better TRUST and PERFORMANCE score, climbing the leaderboard, and earning your reputation!

Traders will benefit from all of this, and users will benefit by being able to follow people based on their performance, not on the number of followers they have. Users can also profit by participating in SOOPs as backers and earning $COR, learning by following what others do, and even have the option to invest based on the predictions made by the best trades on Coreto.

During the development of your project, did you take into account community responses and requests?

Vlad Faraon: The voice of our community is very important to us. Everything we do, we do for people.

We are very active in our TG groups and social media channels, always being open to suggestions and feedback. The key to any successful digital product is to listen to your users and constantly collect their recommendations. As a matter of fact, we have a feedback tool implemented on our platform and we constantly receive suggestions and recommendations from our early testers.

Security and user interface is the most important aspect that users see on a platform. How has your platform performed on this? Is this platform suitable for beginners in the world of cryptocurrencies?

Andrei Balaianu: Security has been one of the most important aspects we have taken into account from day one! From code and data security to infrastructure and integrations, every layer is triple-checked regularly.

Security is not a one-time thing, so we are constantly re-checking, monitoring, and improving it!

Also, as you said, UI/UX is arguably the next most important feature of any platform, and we are taking great care in order to make it as simple, intuitive, and useful as possible.

As a matter of fact, each time we add some new feature to the platform, we do our best to also improve the interface based on our vision, but also on the community feedback we receive.

Can users create a reputation score on SOOP?

How is the Alpha version of the Coreto platform different and how do investors and creators share their knowledge and predictions about the crypto space on Coreto?

Vlad Faraon: That’s the main idea of Coreto! To help crypto traders showcase their knowledge in such a way that they’ll be able to attract a following based on a tracked record of past performance, together with a Trust score gained from the interactions of users with their content.

At this stage, users create their predictions using our SOOP feature, and others can support or challenge them.

Registrations are still open to use the Alpha release, so the best way to understand how this works is to reserve your spot and you’ll get notified when you can join. A link will be shared by the admin here, as I can’t post them 🙂

Community question:
What is the supply of the $ COR token and what future updates do you have to benefit the project and the coin?

Andrei Balaianu: You can find the tokenomics on our website. Also, our roadmap is also available there, and you can have a better picture of what we have planned for the next ~1 year from now.

But just to give you an idea of what we are working on right now, we are implementing new ways for users to interact, share information and build their TRUST and PERFORMANCE.

We are also working on growing the awareness of our project, bringing in new partnerships, and making Coreto known to the whole world.

Community question:
Can you list 1 to 3 main features of Coreto that put it ahead of its competitors? What is the competitive advantage that your platform has that differentiates it from your competitors?

Andrei Balaianu: We have big plans with Coreto, and we are building the necessary tools for every type of user in the crypto space.,

The most unique feature we have I believe to be the Staking of Opinion Pools feature, that allow traders, experienced or not, to test their skill in predicting market evolutions, build their reputation and earn $COR as a result.

Another unique feature we will be implementing is the Rumor Stack, a tool for filtering verified information from speculation and misinformation, with the help of both the community and our validation process.

Other important features will be things like Project Pages, information hubs that will gather all the news, SOOPs, reviews, etc. for each project, and can also be claimed by the project teams in order to also have a tool to promote their projects and build communities around them; 1-on-1 mentoring, that will allow experts on the platform to monetize their time and knowledge, teaching others and sharing their experience; ML & AI market analysis, and many more.

With CORETO, will it be possible to obtain the best market predictions for the different projects? Or will they simply train users so that each one can develop their own predictions?

Vlad Faraon: With the help of Coreto, users have both: Educational content AND price predictions. They will be able to identify those predictions that have the most backers. Backers that are also “putting their skin in the game” with COR tokens, so they will not be “an army of bots” or fake followers. We also have several mechanisms that will discourage bad players and hence cleanse the platform.

Also, with the help of ML and data providers, we’ll be able to develop market sentiment predictions based on the SOOPs created by our members.

En Coreto, puede aprender y comprender todo sobre proyectos criptográficos, comercio y criptografía en general. Andrei Balaianu: ¡La seguridad ha sido uno de los aspectos más importantes que hemos tenido en cuenta desde el primer día! Desde el código y la seguridad de los datos hasta la infraestructura y las integraciones, cada capa se verifica tres veces con regularidad. La seguridad no es cosa de una sola vez, por lo que la revisamos, monitoreamos y mejoramos constantemente.
